bio

I’m a documentary and landscape photographer from Apulia, currently based in Milan. My background is in Chemistry, but over time I felt the need to explore a different kind of language – one that could unearth questions rather than offer formulas. That’s how I came to photography: as a way to investigate the world through observation, memory, and transformation.

From 2013 to 2015, I studied Analog and Digital Photography and Visual Storytelling at CFP Bauer in Milan. During that period, in 2014, I co-founded the CROP Collective, which I was part of until 2021. It was a shared space of reflection among independent photographers, with a focus on the relationship between images, landscape, and nature. Since 2020, I’ve been part of the collective TRAUMA Vision, where I continue to develop research projects alongside other artists and curators.

My work often revolves around the transformation of places – how natural and human elements interact, overlap, and reshape each other over time. I’m drawn to fragile landscapes, to the traces we leave behind, and to photography’s ability to hold what is fleeting. I see the act of photographing as a form of quiet resistance: a way to collect, interpret, and sometimes simply stand still in front of what changes.

My work has been shown mainly in Italy, including at Photofestival Milano, Fabbrica del Vapore, Palazzo Marino, BASE, PhEST International Photofestival, and others.
I currently focus on long-term personal projects.
